Bored. Apparently This Is What We've Come To.

Well, I've finally reached the point where I'm willing to admit it: I'm bored.

And apparently, at my age, the appropriate solution is to put an ad on the internet and hope nobody turns out to be a serial killer.

I'm a guy in my late 40s looking for a woman somewhere in the general 35–50 neighborhood who enjoys actual conversation. You know—where both people contribute words, occasionally laugh at something stupid, and neither person disappears for three days because they got distracted by TikTok.

I'm reasonably normal. I'm reasonably housebroken. I have a dry sense of humor, a collection of completely unnecessary opinions, and enough random interests to keep a conversation going for a while.

I like cars, music, cooking, traveling, reading, writing, concerts, car shows, and generally wandering around doing things that don't involve pretending I'm 25.

I'm not necessarily looking for anything specific. Maybe we talk. Maybe we become friends. Maybe there's chemistry. Maybe we discover that we're both incredibly boring and have wasted 30 minutes of each other's lives. All perfectly acceptable outcomes.

Ideally, you're somewhere around my age and reasonably local. And if you can carry on a conversation, that's already putting you ahead of approximately 73% of the internet.
